Brighton and Hove Psychotherapy in the Press

Because the world of therapy is so complex and also plays a role in so much of modern life in terms of the issues we deal with we often get approached for opinions and comments. It is something we are always happy to do because we feel it is important to make sure the right information is being used in the press. Mental health is such an important issue but it is also one blighted with misinformation. This can be disastrous for people seeking help so whenever we get the chance we love to give clear and correct comments and advice to journalists.

Here are just a few topics we have commented on:

The Metro

Mark was quoted in this really interesting article in the Metro in 2019 which we were approached to comment on:

London News Today

Mark was also asked for comment on this article about mobile phone app use:

Thrive Global

Academic publication

Mark has both a research and work background in working with death within the field of psychotherapy and more specifically on the role death denial plays in managing death anxiety.  Mark’s academic paper entitled ‘The Paradox of Finitude in the Context of Infinitude: Is death denial an essential aspect of being in the world?’ was published in the Journal of the Society for Existential Analysis. Jan 2017, Vol. 28 Issue 1, p151-165. 15p.  A hard copy can be downloaded below:
