This week’s blog offers us the opportunity to formally introduce our latest psychotherapy practice in Lewes – The Barn.
Located just a five minute walk from Lewes train station and in the historic Southover area, The Barn has been run as a psychotherapy practice for nearly 25 years and we hope it will continue to be run as just that for the next 25 under our stewardship.
The success of our Brighton and Hove Psychotherapy in Hove has been to offer a dedicated psychotherapy practice run by psychotherapists for psychotherapists. As such we get to know each and every clinician who rents from us and ensure all our associates are a good fit to what we are offering.
The Barn offers psychotherapists and clients a unique space in Lewes in which to practice and receive therapy. It consists of three beautifully converted practice rooms with a large waiting room for clients; is well located for transport links and parking; and is a serene and calm physical space.
The Barn is the only clinical space in Lewes and the surrounding area for the exclusive use of talk therapy. As UKCP registered psychotherapists, Mark Vahrmeyer and Sam Jahara are well aware of the pitfalls of trying to maintain a therapeutic frame and boundaries in multi-disciplinary clinics where a wide range of alternative treatments are on offer. Therefore Mark and Sam will personally be managing The Barn and expanding their own practices to work from this premises.
